Purpose of the Ride
The Beach Babe Classic is part of the CaliforniaGirl™ Series of rides which also include the Senorita Century and Princess Promenade. The Series was created for women to enjoy all kinds of cycling without pressure. Participants who complete all three rides are eligible for the Ladies Triple Crown™ medal awarded at the series finale, the Princess Promenade in Sacramento, CA.
Charity of Choice
The Beach Babe Classic’s charity of choice is Los Angeles County Bike Coalition. Please make your voluntary tax deductible donation during online registration. The charity for donated registrations is Anaheim High School Girls Cycling Team (non-tax deductible).
A Note on Event Viability
Please do not encourage unregistered riders to join you on the course without registration. Permits & insurance are granted based on the number of participants impacting the course. If you see someone taking advantage of your registration fees by supporting or encouraging unregistered riders, please notify rest stop staff. This activity increases event registration costs, and puts the event at risk for following years.
Bring and Carry Photo ID
Photo ID required at check in and we strongly recommend carrying (photocopy) Photo ID on your ride.
Pick Up For Others
You may pick up registration materials for other riders with emailed registration confirmation authorized by rider. Save paper. Do not print a copy. Show email instead.
Not Sure If You Are Registered?
You can search our database to confirm your registration here.
About Goody Bags
As we are a low waste event, please note we do not give out a “goody bag” with items you may not want including free, low-quality tee shirts. Pre-purchase any women-specific branded merchandise before or at the event. Pick up any desired items from Exhibitors at the Bike Festival and help reduce unwanted waste. Please reuse your bike water bottle instead of using a cup at the finish line.
Parking is available at the Aquarium or Pike parking structure (Shoreline & Queensway/Chestnut Ave) just 100 yards from the start. (Note: the big, round building with whales painted on it is NOT the Aquarium – it’s the Convention Center. Please use the parking structures at the Aquarium or Pike and ride to the start).
Metro Blue Line
The more adventurous will leave their car at home and use Metro Blue Line and take the train to the end of the line in Long Beach. (Bravo, beach babes!).
